Our stay was a bit mixed. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Port Douglas, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and comfortable, but the amenities were lacking, especially with the air conditioning and limited kitchen utensils. Additionally, the lack of on-site staff made it difficult to address any issues that arose during our stay.

The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, but it felt a bit cramped for my liking. The queen bed turned out to be two singles pushed together, which was less than ideal since they slid around.

The service was lacking due to the absence of staff on-site for much of our stay. When we needed help with a maintenance issue, it took far too long to get a resolution.

The location was excellent—right by the Marina and near many restaurants and attractions. It was perfect for exploring Port Douglas.

The hotel has a great location right on Macrossan Street, surrounded by bars and cafes. While my initial room was incredibly small, I was pleased to be upgraded to a spacious one-bedroom suite for a reasonable extra fee. Unfortunately, the service could be improved, as the reception was often unattended, and the room servicing was infrequent. Overall, it's a good base for exploring, but it has its drawbacks.

We had a fantastic stay at Mantra on the Inlet, where the location was superb, and the apartment we stayed in was clean and spacious with great views. However, my overall experience was somewhat mixed due to some ups and downs in service and room quality. While I loved the welcoming gifts and our private balcony, not everyone had the same luck with their room cleanliness or the noise from nearby bars on busy nights.
